Dear Sir or Madame,
I'm writing to take part in the conservation expedition to Costa Rica as volunteer. My reason for volunteering is that I'd like to broaden my experience as biologist. Indeed, I obtained my degree 3 months ago.
The advertisement says you will be researching wildlife in the rainforest and in the waters. I'd be pleased if you could send me further information about where the research in water will be taking place and what kind of species you will be studying.
Furthermore, I'd be grateful if you could inform me if volunteers should take a specific physical test or if a diploma is required. Generally speaking, I'd like to say I'm in good shape and an expert swimmer.
With reference to the request that some knowledge of Spanish is desirable, I'd like to mention that I'm a native Spanish speaker.
Finally, if I'm lucky enough to be selected to joining the expedition, I'd glad if you could give me some details about where and when the two-week induction course will take place.
